Uwe Schuster (Co-Founder/ CEO)

Uwe is an Aerospace Engineer with 11 years experience. His focus is on conceptual and preliminary design of innovative aircraft configurations, including sizing of composite and metallic structures, aerodynamics and loads analysis, flight physics, multidisciplinary design optimization, and software tools development. In his on-going PhD thesis he is working on fast aero-structural optimization techniques for novel aircraft concepts.

Before launching Aeolus Aero GmbH, Uwe was an Aero-structures Staff Engineer in the Swiss office of Aurora Flight Sciences (a Boeing company) working on innovative UAM concepts.
